Bishop Theodis Holmes
"God's Messenger"

Bishop Theodis F. Holmes Sr. was born on March 19, 1962, in Inkster, Michigan, to Evang. Christine Stubbs and the late James A. Holmes. He was the 8th child, also known as a miracle child. As a child, he was stricken with an incurable disease and was given only three months to live. However, because of a praying and interceding mother, God healed him, and told his mother that he would use him in preaching and spreading the word of God. As a child, he was introduced to the Lord Jesus Christ and attended church at Harrison Street C.O.G.I.C., which later became Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C., whom Bishop Issaic King Jr. is the pastor. In 1977, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. While living in Georgia, he met a wonderful spiritual leader by the name of Prophetess Amber Jean Barber, who became his spiritual mentor, along with his mother. After moving back to Inkster, in 1981, he began to accept his calling into ministry in the C.O.G.I.C. While at Pentecostal Temple C.O.G.I.C., he was involved these many roles and departments: YPWW, Purity Class, Youth Bible Study, Prayer Leader, and Drama Department, where he played one of the leading roles in a unforgettable, soul saving play. The play, “Five Wise, Five Foolish Virgins”, was written and directed by his mother. After moving back to Georgia, and spending dedicated years in ministry, he became promoted to an Elder in Bethel Outreach Deliverance Ministries, where he received a great anointing of God. While in the ministry, he worked in multiple positions, such as, Youth Pastor, President of the Men’s Dept., Ministerial Board, and the founding father of the CIA Drama Club. He later assisted the assistant pastor of Bethel Outreach Deliverance Ministries, Pastor Dorothy Craft, in establishing Bethel Deliverance Temple in Manchester, Georgia, which later migrated to Athens, Georgia, where he served as the assistant pastor. In 2011, he met his now wife, Prophetess Tiffany Faulk-Holmes. One year later, after much prayer and fasting, God began to uplift him and move him to Anointed Nu-Vision Ministries in Macon, GA., whom Apostle Ernestine Sherard is the founder and pastor. In 2013, after spending 30 years in ministry, he was installed as the first Bishop of ANVM. In the self-same year, God gave Bishop and his wife the vision to establish their own church, Anointed Warriors for Christ Ministries, in McDonough, GA. Together both Bishop and Prophetess Holmes have 5 beautiful children: Theodis Holmes Jr., Ana Holmes, Ariana Holmes, Minister Christopher Faulk, and Minister Aaron Holmes. His greatest desire is to see God’s people saved, prosperous, and delivered from the snares of the enemy.
